SCOTT HIGGINS
PRESIDENT OF HIP DEVELOPMENTS INC.
As the president of HIP Developments, I am a community builder. We support social programs that will define our future, and I am devoted to giving youth in our Region the opportunity to explore their creativity—they are our future. In addition to YCF, I have created and invested in LAUNCH, a program for kids to explore creative ideas hands-on.
CAMELIA NUNEZ
I’m a teacher, founder and higher education leader. My career started as a language teacher, but my work in education has been deeply influenced by my experience as a business founder. I strive to empower a problem-solving, action-taking and value-creating mindset for all learners.
NICOLE FERNANDES
I’m passionate about helping youth in the Waterloo Region get informed and inspired about their future. I’m a Professional Engineer with an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from Western and a Master’s degree in Management Sciences from the University of Waterloo. Currently I work for Enbridge Gas Inc. in a leadership role as the Operations Manager overseeing both people and the protection of gas infrastructure.
