Swirl & Sip Cafe

This group from Laurel Heights Secondary School applied for support to host a cafe targeted to cheering students up on a cold winter morning. They were first inspired to use this idea at the school's Nuit Blanche event at the end of November 2023 but extended it for the entire week in hopes of increasing school spirit and raising money for Laurel Height's Student Support Fund.

"We named our project the Swirl & Sip Lounge and we are hoping to make a positive change so this event will continue over the next few years!"

BEP staff Bethany and Lauren attended the event and were so impressed with how they managed their booth, especially since they had a line down the hallway the entire event. Overall, Swirl & Sip was able to raise $475 toward the Student Support Fund!
